ReadTwo LTD (company number 17169565) (“ReadTwo”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us through the forms on this site:
- If you register interest as a school: your name, your role, and your email address.
- If you contact us as a partner, adviser or supporter: your name and email address (and anything you choose to include in your message).
- If you join the family waitlist: your name, your email address, and your child’s home language.
We do not collect special category data, and we ask families not to include any sensitive information about their child beyond the home language.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to keep you informed about ReadTwo’s pilots, products and progress where you have asked us to. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it, or until you ask us to delete it. Waitlist and interest-registration data is reviewed periodically and removed when it is no longer relevant.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Our website forms are provided by Tally (Tally BV), which processes form submissions on our behalf as a data processor. We may use email tools to contact you; any such provider acts as our processor under appropriate data protection terms.
Cookies
This website does not use non-essential or tracking cookies. Embedded forms provided by Tally may set cookies strictly necessary for the form to function. If we introduce website analytics in future, we will use a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool and update this notice.
Where your data is held
Your data is processed in the UK or the European Economic Area, or in countries with equivalent data protection safeguards. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email natalia@readtwo.app.
If you are concerned about how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
